Every year, during the first week of summer we host a fun little party in the backyard. I thought I was done last year since my youngest was in middle school, but the boys were not having it. So, this year, I was ready for them! I set up a little backyard popsicle party, and it was the perfect weather for ice cold popsicles!
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
Summer Party Inspiration
I love hosting summer parties, even if they are a little different this year. One of my favorites was our Summer Fun Pool Party. All the kids had a blast playing in the pool together.
We also really enjoyed our Surf’s Up Pool Party.
Backyard Popsicle Party Decorations
I found the cutest popsicle party decorations online. I was able to order a party package for eight guests, which is perfect for our family. The party package came with lunch plates and napkins, small popsicle shaped dessert plates, beverage napkins, paper cups, a banner, a tablecloth, and foam core popsicle table decorations.
I literally only needed to add a small red cooler of ice and some inexpensive popsicles.
Since the table cloth was plastic, I just used a staple gun to tack it to the table top. The table cloth was perfect for this party. The popsicles could melt over the table and not stain a real cloth table cloth or the wood table top!
I used the popsicle banner and foam core decorations on the table. Just before the boys came outside (aka woke up at noon), I filled a small red cooler with ice and filled it with inexpensive popsicles.
If you liked this summer party, be sure to check out some of these too!
