Ice Cream Party
Did you know July was National Ice Cream Month? But, really, any summer day is the perfect excuse for an Ice Cream Party! We headed over to the park and set up a sweet and simple ice cream table for the kids to enjoy while they played.
To create a vintage feel we used an old ladder and up cycled it into a flower rack by adding vintage blue mason jars and filling them with pink flowers. Then, we headed over to our friend’s garage and borrowed that fabulous ice cream maker. Her garage is better than an antique store! To keep the adorable going, we spray painted a tray and umbrella with my favorite color teal {satin aqua} paint from Rustoleum to create the perfect ice cream party color scheme. Do you recognize the ice cream bowl stand? {You can find the DIY here}
We kept the treats simple and just had vanilla and strawberry scoops and strawberry soda. Of course, no party would be complete without adorable décor. Did you recognize that super cute popsicle canvas that we shared over on Sizzzix? Isn’t it the perfect addition to this party?! To carry on the theme we used the adorable Sizzix die cuts to embellish all of the decor.
We had such a fun day and loved how adorable the party turned out! Sweet simple fun for a perfect summer day!
