Happy May Day

Happy May Day! When I was a little girl, I remember adding ribbon and yarn to plastic berry baskets, adding garden cut flowers to the baskets, and dropping them off at the neighbors houses every year. I don’t specifically remember it being on May Day, but I also remember my mom telling me about a May Pole and flowers and ribbons around the same time, so…

For the last few years, we have done May Day bouquets for the neighbors and the boys teachers (when it falls on a school day) Sometimes we use garden cut flowers, other times we buy several small bouquets from the grocery store and create our own mix and match bouquets. This year is a grocery store bouquet kind of year, last year was a potted plant kind of year. Whatever you decide to do, I am sure your neighbors will love it!
